Our client, Gareth Morgan Investments are now seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Operations Analyst to join their team. This is a critical position within the business and as such we are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in a similar role for a major financial services institution. This is a highly varied and dynamic role in which you will be liaising with key stakeholders across the wider business. The main purpose of the role is to provide analysis, reporting and high level support to the key operational functions across the business. We are looking for a talented individual who is happy to utilise their own initiative, is technically competent and ideally has had previous experience coaching and supporting high performing teams.
Core requirements:

• Strong academic background with a Bachelors in Commerce, Business, Finance or Commercial Law. • Solid back ground in Operations within Investment Operations with a good working knowledge of multiple asset classes including Equities, Fixed Interest, Hedging, FX. • Strong Excel skills – ideally to Macro level. • Passion for the industry. • Previous experience of transaction executions, settlements and hedging. • Ability to contribute to continued business improvement and processes.

Strong communication skills are a must, as is the ability to interact with the senior management team and investment professionals. Also sitting within this role you will also be responsible for managing the relationship with third party brokers.
