The aim of the role is to manage the risk environment for this respected financial service organisation. We are seeking a risk and compliance professional who will add value and be an active participant. The role involves the identification, analysis and monitoring of the organisation's market and liquidity exposures resulting from Treasury and Market activities.
Responsibilities include:
Oversight of general risk management & compliance function including ongoing development of the policy framework, risk management controls and processes. Identification of potential risk in both qualitative and quantitative terms. Previous Treasury Management System or IS project experience. Analysis with focus on operational, financial and market risk areas. Involvement in ad hoc strategic projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, middle office risk functions and financial instruments. You must has a strong working knowledge of the detailed process by which market and liquidity risk are measured and monitored. You will have solid valuation skills and excellent data analysis and working knowledge of risk systems. We are looking for someone who has a highly level of attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively whist engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including the LGFA directors.
