LinchPin Financial specialises in recruiting for the financial services industry and our clients are amongst the leading brands in the country. We are now seeking a Senior Investment Consultant on behalf of a client who manages a KiwiSaver scheme, and superannuation and private portfolios, with significant funds under management.
This newly created Wellington-based role will be responsible for managing a broad set of wholesale and premier client relationships. The successful candidate will design and deliver the overall strategy for attracting and retaining high net worth individuals, charities and trusts, and other clients.
Responsibilities of the role include the effective communication of the investment management philosophy, processes and strategy to clients and stakeholders, delivering outstanding client management outcomes.
The position reports to the CIO and you will have the opportunity to work with a market leading investment team
Your attributes will include:
Polished and effective communication skills, both written and spoken A proven ability to interact as a trusted expert with a wide range of clients including very high net worth, trustees, adviser groups and internal retail product managers A demonstrated ability to win new business and proactively deliver outstanding service to clients Drive and focus, with a history of developing successful relationships both from a client and industry perspective. 10+ years working in a similar role at a senior level with CFA or relevant post grad preferred Technically savvy with a good understanding of asset and liability management and the supporting models, tools and systems Experienced with a full range of asset classes, investment strategies and vehicles and an understanding of multi-strategy and risk premia investing If you have the relevant experience we look forward to receiving your CV in Microsoft Word to info@linchpin.co.nz.
