Are you looking for a challenging and stimulating role in a fast-paced environment where you will play a crucial role as part of our client's Risk & Compliance team? The role is initially on a 6-month contract with the possibility of being made permanent.
You will have considerable experience in compliance work within funds management, banking, or other financial institution. The role involves all aspects of compliance work from strategy and regulatory reporting to operational assurance and relationship management.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Implementation of the organisation's compliance framework and procedures. Working with the organisation's Compliance & Legal teams to ensure processes and procedures are consistent and aligned with overarching frameworks. Ensuring the effective segregation of operational and compliance activity, including evidence of an independent assurance function across all operations. Oversight of all compliance reporting. Proactive management of relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders. You will have:
A background in financial services and a good understanding of middle-office processes and operations. Experience of KiwiSaver and AML/FATCA Proven relationship management skills. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated skills as a 'doer' and an 'adviser', who is happy to get stuck in The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team within an organisation that is very much in the growth mode.
