Linchpin Aotearoa specialises in finding the right people to help build successful Maori business. We work closely with organisations on Maori specific roles and projects and are currently seeking experienced Senior Policy Advisors on behalf of our clients.
Successful candidates will have a proven track record with extensive experience across policy and strategy formation, implementation and management.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* A relevant tertiary qualification
* A sound understanding of working within policy and service delivery roles in both public and/or private sectors
* Experience working within a kaupapa Maori framework
* Confidence in building and managing both internal and external stakeholder relationships
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent analytical and research skills
In addition the successful candidate will ideally have:
* Experience working with whānau, hapū, and iwi as well as Maori organisations and Maori communities
* A conversational level of te reo Maori and a thorough understanding of tikanga and kawa
* Experience in developing and implementing strategy
